There is much debate right now in many online forums, discussion boards, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., about whether or not action is a requirement to harness the law of attraction.
This is just a surface question which has called for a lot of introspection on my part as an expert in this area. I have been asked this several times over the years and I have noticed the debate is really coming to a head.
At first, when you examine this question:
Does the law of attraction require action for one to harness it?
On the discussion board that I have been involved with, so many are jumping in and saying, "YES! Of course it does!"
My answer has been a bit different. I have dug deep into the question itself and come up with other questions that call for answers before you can answer the initial question. Those questions are:
What does the term "action" really mean?
Has anyone defined this term as it relates to the law of attraction?
As I see it, action means "movement" in the physical sense, such as making a phone call, setting up a website, paying for a marketing campaign, networking, participating on a blog, posting on online forums, etc. Effecting change through movement and/or communication. Some other people see action as deliberate focus on certain thoughts to create the feelings that charge the universe to harness the law of attraction.
The underlying question really is:
Are you vibrationally aligned perfectly to receive what you are asking for?
If you are, then there is NO action required to manifest what you are asking for. The vibrational match is enough to bring it to you instantly, you just ask for it.
If you are not, then there may be some sort of action required, however, the extent of action is determined by how out of alignment you are emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically.
So, if you are not aligned vibrationally, then ACTION IS REQUIRED. See my take on this and how the law of attraction has evolved by clicking here: Law of Vibrational TheoryTM.
I read a fellow bloggers post the other day and the name of this blogger escapes me, but she is a fitness trainer of sorts and compared using the law of attraction to training to compete in a marathon.
She related it to a skill. If you have been sedentary...basically a couch potato...for the last 10 years, you simply cannot expect to get up and manifest your fitness immediately in order to run a marathon. It takes training, practice, conditioning. This is the same with the law of attraction. This is the alignment factor. If you had been training, running 20 miles a day for the last 5 years, you could get up off the couch and enroll in the next marathon and manifest this end result immediately. You are aligned and you became aligned through your action over the last 5 years.
What most people had become frustrated over is that they thought that the law of attraction stated that you could simply think about something and have it manifest into your life.
Do not get me wrong...THIS IS TRUE based on what I said above.
For most people, they are not vibrationally aligned with what they are asking for so the Universe waits for you to become aligned vibrationally...then what you are asking for is delivered...period. That is the trueness of the above statement.
I just experienced vibrational alignment today without intentional thinking or action to manifesting something I wanted. Here is what happened:
My husband and I are actively looking to buy a new home. I set up to go view a really nice home this evening for 5:30 p.m. Over the weekend, I spoke to my husband about it and we both realized he works until 7:00 p.m. tonight. We agreed that I would go see the home and report to him whether or not I even like it and then we could set up another viewing with him.
However, this morning, I simply said to myself, "wouldn't it be nice if he could come with me tonight." Within 1/2 hour, I received an email from my real estate agent asking if we could move the home tour to 7:30 p.m. tonight because he had a class he wanted to take advantage of this evening.
There was no action on my part to have manifested this except that I silently made a statement of what I wanted and then it manifested.
I do this with car parking spaces, too.
So, for the most part, when you are asking for a change in finances, a new job, something that you are very out of alignment with and you know it, then ask for it and watch for the opportunities that come your way. When out of alignment, take action on those opportunities that inspire you.
